SKETCH RESTAURANT ABUJA
I decided to end the year with a review of another themed restaurant in the buj and this time, we’re stepping into a storybook! Sketch Restaurant is Nigeria’s first 2D/ 3D restaurant that opened recently in Abuja. I visited for a tasting alongside Salmah of SalmahXOEats and I’ve been looking forward to sharing this review.

ESSENCE BY THE GRID
My brother and I decided to check out one more restaurant for a quick lunch (just like the old days) before I left Lagos and that’s how we landed at Essence by the Grid. I must say they exceeded my expectations and even my brother was impressed.

PITSTOP LAGOS
I was in Lagos a few weeks ago and Pitstop was on my “must visit” list. A number of my Lagos followers on Instagram had posted about it and everyone had only good things to say about this restaurant. I knew I had to go see what the hype was about for myself, so I went on a solo lunch date to check it out.

THE COUNCIL ABUJA
I visited The Council Abuja with a few of my friends some weeks ago and it was an interesting experience. The Council is a nice blend of a casual dining restaurant and a lounge with pretty great music.

AMAZONIA RESTAURANT
Amazonia Restaurant is Abuja’s first rainforest restaurant. My friend and I decided to check it out over the weekend and we both agree Amazonia is ready to take over fine dining in Abuja. This is the second restaurant I’ve visited this year with no complaints at all; the first was Brook Lounge.

SEVEN BISTRO
Seven Bistro is a spacious and beautiful restaurant with a lovely ambience and an array of meals and drinks. I went to check out their new menu alongside a few other creatives and we had a really good time.

THE SIX BY LOVITOZ
I recently had a private dining experience at The Six by Lovitoz courtesy of The Abuja Food Tour and it is one of my favourite dining experiences so far. I have always wanted to visit them after seeing a number of pictures on Instagram and it was nothing short of all I hoped for. Dining at The Six by Lovitoz is strictly by reservations and it is fully customisable to suit your needs.

ALAMALA ABUJA
I’ve been trying to be more adventurous with my food choices and to make an effort to taste meals I’ve never had. This the main reason I decided to visit Alamala Abuja to try Amala for the first time. Alamala is a new spot that opened last month in the Buj and they sell just Amala.

GREEN CHILLI STEAKHOUSE
Uche of The Lifestyle Gal hosted a few food bloggers for a food tasting at Green Chilli Steakhouse a few weeks ago and it was an amazing experience. I got to meet other creatives and we had a swell time trying out the meals, sharing our thoughts and of course, taking amazing pictures.

TAR TAR ABUJA
Tar Tar Abuja is another new spot in the buj that opened its doors to the public sometime last month. They’re currently running a soft opening so I visited with a few Abuja bloggers some weeks ago.
