MY OFADABOY EXPERIENCE IN SURULERE, LAGOS
-
ESSENCE BY THE GRID
My brother and I decided to check out one more restaurant for a quick lunch (just like the old days) before I left Lagos and that’s how we landed at Essence by the Grid. I must say they exceeded my expectations and even my brother was impressed.

THE PASHA RESTAURANT, ABUJA
The Pasha restaurant formerly Al Basha Palace is a Lebanese restaurant with a unique structure and ambience. It’s nothing like all the other restaurants I’ve visited in Abuja.

PASTRY BASKET, ABUJA
On a sunny Friday afternoon, I decided to take a break from my usual “work from home” setting so I visited Pastry Basket for a very late breakfast and to work from there as well.

PAINT HOUSE HOTEL ABUJA
Paint House Hotel Abuja is simply a place where ‘relaxation meets art’. If there’s one thing 2020 has taught me it’s that staycations and wellness weekends are very important aspects of self-care and I try my best to chop life as much as I can.

THE HIVE BY WINGIST, ABUJA
My visit to The Hive by Wingist was totally unplanned but turned out to be amazing. I knew I was visiting the new Tropic Galleria mall but wasn’t sure I’d be having my lunch date there. The last time I dressed up and went out to eat was when I visited Urban Air and honestly, I have really missed it.

URBAN AIR RESTAURANT, ABUJA
Urban Air restaurant is the first airplane themed restaurant in Abuja or as I like to call it – The Buj. I was there for their opening/ tasting party but I couldn’t vlog or take pictures because of the crowd so I had to visit again. One thing you should know about the people in Abuja is that they like to visit restaurants as soon as they open for business so I kinda anticipated the crowd.

THE COLONY BY CHEF TAYLOR, ABUJA
I decided to share more restaurants currently offering takeout and deliveries in Abuja after my last post so yeah, I’m back with another review! I ordered food from The Colony by Chef Taylor a few weeks ago and glad to say I wasn’t disappointed.
-
THE FOOD FACTORY, ABUJA
The wave of change that came with the Coronavirus pandemic forced a lot of restaurants to close their doors to people like me who appreciate restaurant hopping while some have resorted to just takeout and deliveries. The Food Factory is a new spot on the block belonging to the second category.

WORKING REMOTELY IN NIGERIA – THE HIGHS AND LOWS
I spent the whole of my 2019 working from home. Yup, I never sat at an office desk the whole of last year. Working remotely in Nigeria may sound like luxury or enjoyment to some people but one thing I can tell you for a fact- it is hard!
