ASIA TOWN, PORT HARCOURT
So during the Christmas holiday, my brother and I decided to do a little (or not so little) strolling. We went to Port Harcourt and just had to revisit this lovely restaurant– Asia Town.
LOCATION
24 Forces Avenue in old G.R.A, Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
AMBIENCE
This was actually my second time visiting Asia Town and I loved the experience just as much as the first time. Everything about this place is just perfect; the location (it’s kinda low-key), decor, customer service and the food. I loved everything about Asia Town, from the seating arrangement to the decor and the soft music that was playing in the background.
I love the ceiling 
FOOD
Their menu contains a wide range of Chinese and Nigerian cuisines. I had dumplings the first time I went there and I fell in love with it immediately.
This time we ordered:
- Mixed Vegetable Fried Rice (fried basmati rice with carrot, sweet corn and spring onion)
- Sweet and Sour Chicken (crispy fried diced chicken simmered in a sweet and sour sauce with onions, peppers and pineapple)
- Chapman *side note- theirs is one of the best I’ve ever had.
SERVICE
Before we got our orders, the waiter brought a tray containing warm sanitizing towels which we used to sanitize our hands. It may seem like we ordered a lot of food but we actually got everything within 15 – 20 minutes. They also had this Guest Comment Card which allows you to rate the service you received before leaving. I really liked the idea and I think more restaurants should adopt it.
It’s a perfect location for birthday dinners, dates, corporate dinners, wedding receptions, etc. So if you’re in Port Harcourt or you’re planning to visit soon, do check out this spot.
