PAINT HOUSE HOTEL ABUJA
Paint House Hotel Abuja is simply a place where ‘relaxation meets art’. If there’s one thing 2020 has taught me it’s that staycations and wellness weekends are very important aspects of self-care and I try my best to chop life as much as I can.
Location
No. 1 211 road, off 21 road, 2nd avenue, Gwarinpa, Abuja
By now you already know that I love lowkey locations and Paint House Hotel Abuja is your perfect lowkey staycation spot. From the outside, it looks like a regular apartment building. There’s no signage, just the house number.
Ambience and Service
It has a very minimalistic interior decoration with lots of artwork on the walls at the reception area and also in the rooms. I arrived quite late in the night and the check-in process was really easy and fast. The receptionist was very responsive and friendly. There’s more than enough parking space for cars outside and a standby security officer at the gate.
The Room
I stayed in their biggest room called El Greco, their biggest room. It was very spacious, airy and had a very minimal decoration. My favourite piece of furniture was the open wardrobe which took up very little space and just looked totally different from the ones at other hotels.
Other things attached to the room include:
- Bathroom (shower + heater)
- Television
- Reading desk and chair
- Wardrobe + hangers
- Refrigerator
- Air Conditioner
The price for the El Greco room is ₦15,000 and ₦13,000 on weekends which I think is quite affordable. Overall, I rate my experience 8/10 and I would recommend Paint House hotel for anyone looking for affordable and nice hotels in Abuja.
