WENATURALS HEMP OIL RANGE

Being natural can be fun yet very frustrating sometimes. It is very important to understand your kind of hair and choose products very carefully. I had a mini Christmas wishlist, and the Wenaturals Hemp oil range was like number three on the list and I was so happy I got it.

Wenaturals is a Ghanaian brand that specializes in making natural hair products (you can read more about them here). Every product in this set contains hemp seed oil which has a lot of benefits. It is also stated that their products contain NO Parabens, Sulfates, Mineral oil, Gluten,  Phthalates, Synthetic Fragrance, Synthetic Colour and Silicon.

The set contains the following items:
– Black Soap Shampoo
– Ultimate Hot Oil Treatment
– Moisturizing Leave-In Conditioner
– Moisturizing and Detangling Conditioner
– Whipped Shea Hair Butter

Black Soap Shampoo with Hemp Oil

The benefits derived from black soaps are numerous because of the natural products used in making it. I particularly love the Wenaturals black soap shampoo because unlike some other black soaps I’ve used,  it doesn’t leave my hair completely dry at all. It gives a minty feel which i love very much and it deep cleans my scalp while retaining moisture.

Ultimate Hot Oil Treatment 

I had never used any hot oil treatment before I got the set, so I was unsure what it’s meant for but with the instructions written on the bottle, I was able to use it. It’s important to moisturize your hair before washing that way your hair won’t be completely stripped of moisture and the Wenaturals hot oil treatment is perfect for a pre-poo. It leaves an almost everlasting shine on the scalp even after rinsing it off. I would’ve loved it if this came in an applicator bottle because that would have made it very easy to apply to the scalp.

Moisturizing Leave-in Conditioner

I’m deeply in love with this product. I apply the leave-in conditioner after washing my hair (best on damp hair). It gives my hair a soft,  silky feel. After the first usage, I loved it so much so I added it to the other contents in my spray bottle and I just spritz it all over my hair every day to keep it moisturized.

Moisturizing and Detangling Conditioner

I usually use this immediately after I wash my hair. It’s not a deep conditioner but I always keep it on my hair for a while before I wash it off.  It’s very creamy and helps a lot with detangling.

Whipped Shea Hair Butter

This product is simply a combination of Shea butter,  Hemp seed oil, Castor oil, Coconut oil and essential oils. Mere looking at the ingredients you know this product is very rich. It’s really good as a sealant after applying oils to your hair.

I really can’t point out something I don’t like about the Wenaturals Hemp oil range. The only issue I had the first day I used it was the smell but I guess it was just a one-time thing because I’ve been using it for almost two months now and the smell is no longer an issue. I love every item in the set and I would love to try more products from them.
